Fred brings to his teaching a storied career as a Certified Landscape Designer, with more than four decades refining his craft. From the hands-on early days in production to spearheading his own successful landscape business, his journey is marked by outstanding recognition—including awards from Landscape Ontario. Reflecting on thousands of unique designs, he is keenly attuned to the evolving pulse of the landscape industry, drawing on an in-depth knowledge pool to inform his instruction.

After overcoming a personal health challenge, Fred’s focus sharpened on design and education. He channeled his expertise into nurturing budding designers at Sheridan College—the very place where he expanded his own professional repertoire. Fred's teaching is enriched by his use of cutting-edge design technology and a bespoke approach that mirrors his consultative client interactions.
